No unread posts Task 1 (PSU9035) - UR Z21 Amendments

It was an agenda for the purpose of eliminating reservations for UR Z 21 regarding surveys of propeller shafts and tube shafts, which has been in stalemate for several years of long discussion. At the last Survey Panel spring meeting (4 - 5 Mar. 2009) the Panel reached an agreement to deal with it from the beginning and the necessity to transform the reservations of UR Z 21 into Recommendations was raised. However, a member society proposed that the basic requirements, for which Members have not raised any reservation, could remain in a short UR, while the rest could be included in a Recommendation. So, all panel members agreed with the idea, which categorize UR Z 21 into basic requirements to be remained in UR Z21 and the remainder to be transformed into a Recommendation.

No unread posts PSU14036 - Secondary Barrier test - Revision of the drafted text of Item GA 2.1.2.10 of Imo Resolustion A.1053(27)as amended.

According the outcomes of the IMO III Subcommittee the item GI 2.1.2.10 has been agreed to be modified according to IACS submission (III 1/10/03). The new text of Item GI 2.1.2.10 does not recall word by word the provisions contained in IACS UI GC 12 (rev.1). Moreover a slightly different text (from those approved by III Subcommittee) is used in IACS UR Z16.
Panel is require to verify if a re-alignment is necessary.
Moreover Panel is required to evaluate whether the item GR 2.4.2.2, of IMO Res. A.1053(27) as amended, should be updated according the provisions of UI GC 12 (rev.1) for glued secondary barriers
